Four-and-half minutes were eliminated from the Lionsgate release cut of Inside High Noon. These sequences dealt with John Wayne’s role, as a leading spokesman for the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals, in the behind-the-scenes blacklisting controversy during the filming of High Noon. Another sequence explored how Wayne ended up accepting Cooper’s Best Actor Oscar at the Academy Awards. The following is the four minute excerpt from the deleted version. There is also aditional material edited from the final version.
